Strider Bikes Championship Series In Ventura
With the mission to make learning how to ride a bike a fun and easy experience for all children from the ages of 18 months; Strider has developed a light weight/all terrain bike with no pedals. This design encourages children to trust their own two feet when learning how to balance on two wheels and helps them to quickly overcome the drawbacks and fears of using training wheels. In addition to developing a bike ride-able by all ages and ability levels, Strider has created a community of young riders across the United States; holding races and events nationwide that bring the young riders and their families together for a day of racing and fun. Most recently, Strider held their 2015 Championship series in Ventura, CA. The event took place on the promenade next to the pier, and featured races for age groups two and under and up to 5 years old; Strider also hosted a race just for their special needs riders of all ages. The event was a huge success, attracting families from all over the area and sparking much enthusiasm for cycling amongst the racers and spectators that attended.
