Get ready for a week packed with epic and exciting local community events leading up to X Games Ventura. As the adrenaline and action pick up for the games, there’s even more excitement to be had even before the competition weekend. Starting on June 23, Ventura will be buzzing with all sorts of events for you and your crew to enjoy.
From sipping local brews at Barrelhouse 101 for their Local XG Beer Series Kickoff and testing your skills at a truly Ventura cornhole tournament to Ventura’s first-ever roller disco, there’s a lot of fun to be had all week long. Local XG Beer Series Kickoff at Barrelhouse 101

Cheers to X Games Ventura 2024 at Barrelhouse 101’s Local X Game Beer Series Kickoff. A great opportunity to hang out with your crew and sip on some locally crafted beer in celebration of the X Games, you won’t want to miss this event to start off the week right. All eight of the local X Games beers will be available for purchase for in-house consumption or to go.
From June 23–30, the Ventura Beer Games begin! Make sure you grab a punch card at Barrelhouse 101 to enter the Ventura Beer Games — if you try each of the local X Games beer, you’ll be entered to win an EPIC swag bag full of merch and special items. And please, remember to drink responsibly folks — you have all week to cheers and celebrate X Games Ventura!
Community Clean-up at Willoughby Preserve with X Games and Ventura Land Trust
Monday, June 24, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Roll up your sleeves and don’t be afraid to get a little dirty. Ventura Land Trust and X Games are teaming up together to host the second annual X Games clean-up. This year, head over to Willoughby Preserve to help clean up our community with trash removal, trail building, and invasive species removal. Gloves, hand tools, trail-building tools, invasive species knowledge, and trash bags will be provided.
Ready to sign up? Remember to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants and provide your own sun protection and water. A fun surprise for all of the volunteers? All attendees will receive a Sunday, June 30, X Games ticket! Secure your spot and sign up now.
X Games Kick Off Cornhole Tourney

Get your bean bags out and ready! Totally Local VC has joined forces with Winchesters Grill and Saloon and Surf Rodeo to celebrate X Games Ventura in true Ventura fashion. Join all the fun at The X Games Kick Off Cornhole Tourney on June 25 at Winchesters Grill for some great music and an epic cornhole tournament! The fun starts at 5:00 PM! Come join the fun! X Games Waterfront Wednesday at Ventura Harbor Village

Back by popular demand, Ventura Harbor Village presents Waterfront Wednesdays kicking off on Wednesday, June 26 with special time Noon to 3 PM on June 26 only along the Seaside Promenade. Get ready for fun visitor booths, giveaways, a kid’s scavenger hunt, and tropical steel drum vibes making it the perfect way to spend a June afternoon by the water. Dine and shop at the Ventura Harbor Village!
Plus, don’t miss out on the Radio Remote & X Games ticket giveaway starting at 4:00 PM. The fun doesn’t stop there! Stick around for the Big Lawn Concert & Drone Show Seating featuring Looking West and Rey Fresco. At 9:00 PM, look up to the sky as 500 drones take flight at the Ventura Harbor to finish off a beautiful and fun day spent celebrating the X Games at the Ventura Harbor Village!

Wednesday, June 26, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Join the locals and bring your crew from a oceanside run. Dress up to celebrate X Games Ventura for the EXtreme Boogie Night, a 5k run along the Ventura Promenade. The perfect way to kick off the summer, walk it, run it, and dress up! When you’re done, grab a beer at one of our local breweries and cheers to a fun community event. Sign up!
Ventura Roller Disco

Epic music? Check. Roller skates? Check. Total nostalgic vibes? Check.
You won’t want to miss the first ever Ventura Roller Disco in Downtown Ventura. Get ready for a throwback to the 70s and 80s with an introduction to skates workshop, a guided Dance Skate lesson, live DJ sets, skate community vendors, and more! Bring your own skates or utilize the skate rentals (first come first serve). It’s sure to be an epic night you won’t forget!
Ventura Skate Jam + Skate & Create
Thursday, June 27, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Back again to kick off the X Games, is the free, all-ages Ventura Skate Jam right in Downtown Ventura. Bring your skateboard and ride in the jam or hang around and watch the fun. Featuring a locally crafted and painted skateboard ramp by Buena High School students, the Ventura Skate Jam is a true Ventura local event you can’t miss out on.
And the little ones can join in on the fun too! The X Games Ventura 2024 Skate & Create, taking place during the Skate Jam, is welcome to ages 5 to 10. The kids can try their wheels and skate their mini skatepark, make their own t-shirt, and create a custom skateboard deck!
Visit Ventura Drone Shows
June 26, 27, 28, 29 @ various times and locations
Watch as 500 drones take flight during the Visit Ventura Drone Shows in celebration of X Games Ventura 2024. This free community event will light up the sky in ways you never thought possible.
