Where Can I Charge an Electric Vehicle in Ventura?
In Ventura, we do our best to encourage clean transportation to reduce our carbon footprint on our beautiful environment. Being home to rolling green hills and blue ocean, we have a lot to protect! If you are planning to visit Ventura in an electric vehicle, rest assured that you’ll be able to find electric vehicle charging stations in Ventura.
Where can you charge an electric vehicle in Ventura? There are a ton of EV charging stations (including Tesla superchargers) in Ventura.

What to Do
Downtown Ventura is in the heart of Ventura — from Main Street which is lined with dozens of cute independently owned boutiques and delicious eateries to the Ventura Pier and promenade where you can walk along the ocean with the warm California sunshine on your face. Up in the hills, walk through thousands of beautiful and rare plants and flowers in the Ventura Botanical Gardens (Wednesdays and Fridays are free!), or head even further up the hill to Grant Park for amazing panoramic views of the city below and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

In the mood for pizza? Check out Fluid State Beer Garden for a delicious (and huge) slice of pizza and a cold brew to go along with it. If you’re in the mood for tacos, you can get an authentic quesabirria taco at Taqueria Cuernavaca or an awesome fish taco at Beach House Tacos right on the pier. If you’re looking for a sit down restaurant that will fill your taste buds, look no further than Rumfish y Vino, Cafe Fiore, Paradise Pantry, or Rice by Mama — all great choices with the best Ventura has to offer (but there are so many more!).

Midtown Ventura is home to hidden delights — from vintage stores, neighborhood wine bars, and lunch and brunch spots, there’s plenty to do while you’re waiting for your clean electric vehicle to charge in Ventura. Spend hours browsing the racks at Poppies Vintage where you’ll find cute curated pieces that you didn’t know you needed in your wardrobe. Want to get into film photography? Dexter’s Camera is one of the oldest businesses in Ventura County and is full of vintage film and SLR cameras to purchase (and buy film at an affordable price!).
Where to Eat
There’s a ton of places to eat, drink, and hang out in Midtown Ventura. Hungry for lunch? Head over to Midtown Grill for a fresh made to order burger or if you have plenty of time on your hands, hang out at Buddy’s Wine Bar for a little drink and good times. If you’re around in the evening, head to the Grape for cool jazz music and drinks. There’s no shortage of fun in Midtown Ventura and great eating spots so take your time to explore!

What to Do
Have some waterside fun at the Ventura Harbor Village! Whether that looks like walking along the water with your leashed pup or renting a cute character pedal boat from Ventura Boat Rentals, you can find a whole day of adventure at the Ventura Harbor Village. Make sure to check out the Channel Islands Visitor Center where the kids can learn more about the Channel Islands National Park. Where can’t you eat at the Ventura Harbor Village? There are so many amazing places to eat, it’ll be hard to choose. What to Do
The East Side of Ventura is home to great family neighborhoods and parks. So if you’re looking for a field day in Ventura, this is your place to do it. From Camino Real Park to the Ventura Community Park there’s plenty of space to stretch out for a picnic or a game of ball. Or, hike through the hills at Harmon Canyon or Arroyo Verde Park.
Where to Eat
You’ll find amazing hole in the wall restaurants on the east side of Ventura: La Parilla, Two Trees Restaurant, and Cafe 126, just to name a few. You’ll also find a slew of amazing local breweries on the east end of Ventura: Seaward Brewing, Topa Topa Brewing (HQ), Bright Spark Brewing, MadeWest Brewing, and Poseidon Brewing.
