Calling all foodies! Takeout Tuesday is in full swing

America did “The Great American Takeout” on March 24th, and Ventura ran with it. And, knowing our local restaurants needed more than a single bump of support, Venturans got behind “Takeout Tuesdays” in a big way. Let’s take it a fun step farther. When you get takeout (and it doesn’t really matter what day — any day is a kind way to help our local restaurants), share your photos and tag us @visitventura. We’ll put all those photos together, and, well, won’t that feel good? Smiling restaurant owners. Tasty meals. Perchance a local wine/beer resting tantalizingly beside that takeout. And yep, all of this while keeping our distance. Ventura has so many great restaurants — and so many of them owned by our neighbors and friends. If you can’t make up your mind, here’s a list of takeout options. Let’s light up the virtual sandwich board. Let’s show our community spirit. Because there’s no place like Ventura.
