The Ventura County Fair returns every summer to the Ventura County Fairgrounds at 62-acre Seaside Park beside the sea. Revel in carousel kisses, exhibits ranging from art to agriculture, outdoor concerts, a professional rodeo, 4-H livestock, the enticing smells of fried dough and cinnamon, hand-holding under the stars, happy shrieks, and memories made on the sea breeze.
This year, the Grandstand Arena features a bigger stage facing the bleachers. Attendees can enjoy concerts for free on a first-come, first-served basis, with gates opening at 4 PM before each show. For an enhanced experience, upgrade to VIP seating and standing areas in the arena with an additional ticket purchase.
Ticket Pricing

Friday, Aug. 7 – 7pm

Sunday, Aug. 9 – 2pm, 7pm
Adults (13+): $11.45
Children (3-12): $9.29
Lap children do not require a ticket.

DIRECTIONS
From Los Angeles
The Ventura County Fairgrounds are located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 90 minutes north of Los Angeles.
From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) northbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit or the California Street exit. Turn left towards the ocean to Harbor Blvd., turn right on Harbor and continue until you reach The Ventura County Fairgrounds at the corner of Harbor and Figueroa.
From Santa Barbara
The Ventura County Fair is located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 40 minutes south of Santa Barbara. From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) southbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit, make an immediate right on Harbor Boulevard and proceed to the Ventura County Fairgrounds at Seaside Park.
PARKING
Parking at the Ventura County Fair is $30.00 per car. Parking at the Fairgrounds is limited. Free shuttle buses are provided from off Fairground sites located around Ventura. Find everything you need to know about off site parking here.
Wise out-of-town visitors might consider riding the train into town. The Amtrak stop is right at the Fairgrounds, and it’s only a ten-minute walk to several hotels and downtown Ventura.

- By Train: Ride the Pacific Surfliner or the convenient Metrolink train service to arrive in Downtown Ventura and enjoy breathtaking views of California’s coastline.
- By Shuttle: Park and hop on a shuttle for free from one of seven locations ($10 parking fee at San Buenaventura State Beach lot). Shuttles begin running one hour prior to the Fair opening and run continuously throughout the day until 11:30pm. Shuttle map can be found here.
- By Car: Reach Ventura via the beautiful 101 Freeway or the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, just 70 miles north of Los Angeles.
Parking is available at the Ventura County Fairgrounds for $30 a day. Additionally, free and paid parking within walking distance can be found on the map above.
