Find Comfort & Joy At Outdoor Ventura Harbor Village This Holiday Season
by Ventura Harbor Village
With the holidays in full swing, Ventura Harbor Village tops the list of magical outdoor shopping centers you’ll want to visit with loved ones this holiday season. Not only does this seaside enclave have your safety and comfort in mind, but there is an array of shopping activities and SEAsonal experiences for all ages. The picturesque Village shines even brighter in the Holiday season with its colorful ocean-inspired SEAson’s Greetings holiday display dazzling the shores now through New Year’s Eve. Witness thousands of sparkling beach-hued lights of blue, aqua, and green, spiraling sea pearls, whimsical colorful trees, lush wreaths, and other magical decor — an illuminated outdoor wonderland that inspires joy for all. Sunset is the prime time to stroll through Ventura Harbor Village’s twinkling courtyards and catch the stunning colorful winter sunsets. Dine for takeout and pick-up with quality cuisine from around the world, as well as fresh seafood dishes. Plan a meal around the fresh fish options found at Ventura Harbor fish markets. Create a new holiday tradition this year by booking a reservation, available nightly now through December 31, 2020, for a Private Holiday Light Boat Tour through Ventura Boat Rentals for just you and your “quarantine crew” to view the lights reflecting off the waters in the Ventura Harbor and the Ventura Keys. Spoil yourself with sweet treats like chocolates, baked goods, pastries, and ice cream. When the sugar rush hits, take a stroll through Ventura Harbor Village and shop for everyone on your gift list, and partake in the Holiday Shopping Passport now through December 20, 2020. Just ask for a Holiday Shopping Passport, visit six unique coastal boutiques or art galleries, get a stamp, and enter to win prizes such as winter whale watching from Island Packers, Ventura Harbor zipped sweatshirts from Harbor Market & Liquor, and gift certificates to Village retailers. Visit the FA-LA-LA-LA Holiday Marketplace on weekends before Christmas from approximately 11 am to dusk, with more than 16 stores and galleries open safely at 20 percent capacity. Support local-owned and operated merchants this holiday season and meander the Village with unique shops to discover one-of-a-kind finds, fashion trends, and some magical moments along the way. Pick up a gift card – which make perfect stocking stuffers too! Retailers will also be offering specials — Ventura Pottery Gallery is offering a free gift with all $25 purchases — through December. Looking for holiday mask wear? Several retailers have holiday or sparkling masks available.‘Tis the Season for the spirit of giving and the Holiday Can Tree Drive for Food Share is set for Saturday, December 19 from 11 aam to4 p.m. at Ventura Harbor Village as a drop-off location. Santa will be on hand for the occasion, collecting the canned goods. Bring 20 cans or more and get a free antler headband. Please help to make the holidays bright for others and watch the canned trees being built on site with donated cans. Please know that, in these difficult times, Ventura Harbor Village, takes your safety seriously and we are taking all necessary precautions. And, looking toward the bright, the large public holiday events that have been a Ventura Harbor Village tradition in previous years will resume in 2021. The sea is a healing place and we’ll get through this together.View this post on Instagram
