An 11 year-old’s perfect family outing
by Jake Auster
If I were to have the perfect family outing day in Ventura, the following would be what I would do. First, in the morning I would go to Pete’s breakfast house. This is a great restaurant and has very good service there too. (p.s. don’t forget to get a mint on the way out of the restaurant.)I would then go down to the pier with my family and rent a Wheel Fun. These are a great way to build a strong bond with your family members, it’s a great exercise too! This is a great activity before lunch, because then at lunch your really hungry.
If you’re not interested in riding in a group bike around the beach, then you should definitely go to the following suggestion. If you like to engage with other people and doing a lot of fun activities then I recommend the Ventura Harbor.
A good restaurant there is Brophy Bros. Restaurant and Clam Bar. After that, I would go to Coastal Cone if you want to activate that sweet tooth!
After a long day in the marvelous Ventura, California, I would end it with watching the sunset on the Ventura Pier.
This is a magnificent view and a great way to just chill. Maybe build a few rock sculptures or try out the fried bananas at Beach House Tacos which is right on the pier. Although, take a jacket!
