A Perfect Day in Ventura From the Perspective of a 15-Year-Old

by Bennett Cvijanovich

Hi, I’m a 15-year-old boy living in Ventura, California. I love good eats, surfing, and photography, and this is my idea of a perfect day in Ventura when you’re under 21.

Eats

Grab my wetsuit and camera then bike down to Duke’s Griddle and Grill and have some awesome pancakes for breakfast.

Beach

After eating I would take a short stroll to the beach and put on my wetsuit. I would then grab my camera and get in the water for a couple of hours.

More eats

After our long session in the water I would stop at The Sushi House for the famous avocado bomb and some delicious California rolls.

Hike

Next I would go take a beautiful hike behind Two Trees and get some cool photos.

Next I would go to Serra Cross Park for sunset to take some awesome pictures of Ventura.

Even more eats!

Lastly I would go to O-Sabi, a Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you!! The food is delicious and the show is amazing!

Whatever you decide to do will be fun in this laid-back beach town I’m lucky to call home.
