Where Can I Enjoy Ventura’s Post-Rain Blossom?

by Visit Ventura

Step aside, Ireland (well maybe not quite, but…)

St. Patrick’s Day has passed but lovely green still reigns in Ventura — our recent rains have bestowed stunning, and strangely soothing, greenscape. Take a moment to breathe deep and enjoy. Take more than a moment. There’s art in stillness. Find your stillness — and more than a wee touch of green — among these Ventura outdoor favorites…

Arroyo Verde Park

A favorite spot for local hikers and dogs (on leash please), the rains have turned Arroyo Verde into something even locals don’t recognize. But from on high, the sweeping seascapes remain unchanged.

Plaza Park

No, this photo is not enhanced. Directly in front of the Post Office (mail postcards to family and friends!), leprechaun green resides in Plaza Park.

Channel Islands National Park

Ahhhhhhhhh. North America’s Galapagos doesn’t look like the Galapagos anymore. You’ll need sunglasses to face the Coreopsis.
