It’s finally that time again! The time of year for holiday cheer. How will you celebrate the holidays this year? Ventura has so many fun holiday events to choose from. Lucky for you, we’ve narrowed it down to the Top 5 holiday events to go to in Ventura to help make your decision a little easier.

1. Snow N Glow Holiday Festival Nov. 27 – Dec. 26

The ultimate California holiday festival returns and is better than ever this year! Located at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, the Snow N Glow Holiday Festival will feature snow tubing with real snow, a holiday light trail with over 1 million lights, carousel rides, igloo rentals, s’mores & hot chocolate, and visits with Santa and friends.

The Snow N Glow Holiday Festival is excited to announce that this year, there will be fireworks on select nights at 8 PM! Fireworks will be on: 11/27, 12/03, 12/10, 12/17, and 12/24.

Snow N Glow is also partnering with Spark Of Love and the Fire Departments of Ventura County to host a Toy Drive that benefits the Healthcare Foundation of Ventura County. Bring an unwrapped toy to the festival during festival hours or drop it off at Ventura Rental (1601 Callens Rd. #A) during operating hours from 11/27 – 12/13.

If you bring an unwrapped toy on 12/4, you’ll receive a free hot chocolate with admission!

2. Ventura Winter Wine Walk & Holiday Street Fair Dec. 3 @ 12 pm – 8 pm

The Social Event Of The Year is back! The Ventura Winter Wine Walk & Holiday Street Fair will once again return to beautiful Ventura on Saturday, December 3, 2022! 

The Most Magical day in Ventura will kick off with the FREE Vendor Fair from 12 pm – 8 pm in Downtown Ventura with vendors and live entertainment. The vendor fair and entertainment are FREE and open to the public!

At 4 pm, the Ventura Winter Wine Walk gets started! The Wine Walk will showcase Wineries and Breweries in your favorite Downtown businesses. As you stroll down Main Street, you will be surrounded by a winter holiday ambiance of live entertainment, beautiful holiday lighting, and snowfall from 6:45 pm – 8 pm at the Main Stage.

3. Ventura Harbor Parade Of Lights Dec. 16 & 17 @ 6:30 pm

The 2022 theme pays homage to all things outer space – Out of This World!

We are looking forward to a very colorful boat parade and Harbor Village festivities! Soak up some holiday cheer with shimmering lights, whirling kid carnival rides, boutique gift shopping, delicious dining, and more.

4 PM & beyond – Kids Rides & Carnival Games on the main lawn

5:30 PM – Faux Snowfall, LED Performers Twinkle and Shine along the Harbor Village Promenade

6:30 PM – Boat Parade Begins (two laps throughout Ventura Harbor)

8 PM – Fireworks (weather pending) – look northwest for the best viewing

4. Ventura Findings Market Holiday Fair Nov. 26 @ 11 am- 5 pm

The Findings Market takes over on Oak Street in Downtown Ventura with more than 80 crafters, artists, vintage merchants, and more. There will be live music throughout the day and bites and beverages will be available. It’s a great way to get out and support your local community this holiday season!

5. Holiday Lights Harbor Cruise

On select nights during the month of December, take a festive one-hour cruise through the Ventura Harbor and Ventura Keys to view the decorated boats and homes. Seasonal holiday music will play in the background. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. Get in the holiday spirit with this magical boat ride!
