Avocado Martini & Prickly Pear

Cafe Fiore features two of Ventura’s most delicious cocktails: their avocado martini featuring Cruzan Mango rum, muddled fresh avocado, splash Absolut vanilla vodka, and lime; and their prickly pear featuring Absolut Pear vodka, blood orange, prickly pear purée, St Germain elderflower liqueur and fresh house citrus mix.

Rusty Harpoon

This handmade cocktail crafted by Skipper Scott at VenTiki Lounge & Lanai in downtown Ventura is a delicate balance of quality rums, exotic liqueurs, traditional spices and fresh fruit juice. Harkening back to whaling days of old when men would return from sea rich in oil ready to celebrate the bounty they had fought so hard for. Pineapple Syrup, Gold 151 Rum, Gold Rum, Lime Juice, Orange Juice, St. Elizabeth All Spice Dram, Falernum & Traditional Spices

Sangre Fuego

1.5 oz Peligroso tequila, .5 oz St. Germain elderflower liqueur, 3 fresh blackberries, 1 slice of fresh Serrano chile, 1 lime wedge, a dollop of blood, orange/ginger foam Want to try to make this at home? In a foamer, combine 2oz blood oranges liqueur, 1oz simple syrup, 1oz lemon juice, 1 egg white, 1 large spoonful of ginger purée, 2oz water. Shake to mix all ingredients thoroughly before adding a CO2 gas cartridge. Muddle blackberries, Serrano, and lime in a shaker, then add ice, tequila, and elderflower liqueur. Shake hard, then strain over ice into a Collins glass and top with blood orange/ginger foam. Garnish with a lime twist. Ooooor… make your way to Watermark on Main!

Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita

This is a signature item and sure crowd pleaser at Barrelhouse 101. Their bartenders muddle fresh, crisp cucumber with zesty jalapeño and sweet orgeat syrup. The muddle is then mixed with tequila, Triple Sec, and freshly squeezed lime juice. A quick shake with ice blends all the ingredients together for a vibrant and refreshing cocktail that sneaks up with a pinch of heat and tingle in the finish.

Moscow Mule

Hangar 1 Kaffir Lime vodka, Crabbies alcoholic ginger beer, bitters, and lime makes up this delicious drink served in Dargan’s Irish Pub’s custom copper mug.
