Imagine dining and dancing under the stars on a warm summer evening—within the walls of an historic California rancho! You can this summer during the Music Under The Stars 2018 summer concert series at Olivas Adobe in Ventura. Picnic beneath the spreading branches of an ancient flowering magnolia tree while enjoying live music from some of the area’s premiere bands.
Get ready to dance eight Saturday nights this summer in the courtyard of Olivas Adobe near Ventura Harbor, as the City of Ventura Parks, Recreation & Community Partnerships proudly presents the 31st year of this popular concert series.
The 2018 Music Under The Stars concert season kicks off July 14 from 7:30- 9:30 pm with the British Beat, featuring covers of Rod Stewart, The Who, The Moody Blues, Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones! Additional shows pay tribute to Motown, Zydeco, Neil Diamond, and fresh Country, Blues, Salsa, and Rock sounds.
Pack your own picnic to dine al fresco, or purchase food and drink from on-site vendors. A convenient full beverage bar also offers beer, wine, and cocktails. Experienced revelers jazz up their dining space by bringing tablecloths, flowers, flameless candles, and other favorite accouterments to make their evening under the stars extra-special.
Tickets are available for seats in both the unreserved general admission area or reserved table seating and are priced at only $20 each (optional table reservations can be made: 2 tickets + $20 fee required per table).
Although you may bring your own chairs for the unreserved area, some seating is available, and small tables may also be rented. Seating at the concerts is limited and regularly sells out, so make your reservations in advance, if possible. Visit their website for more information.
