Jaguar Moon
Jump into the jungle at this agave-forward cocktail restaurant surrounded by hot pink walls, Ventura’s nighttime cocktail scene is heating up with this new cocktail restaurant.
Owners Brandon and Misty (of Good Lion Hospitality) have envisioned Jaguar Moon as the newest hot spot to hang out while you’re bar hopping in Downtown Ventura. Serving delicious food from Chef Jose Ramon Velázquez, fill up on Mexican-inspired cuisine and innovative cocktails during a night on the town.
Jaguar Moon will have its soft opening on November 17, 2024.
Make sure to stop by Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust and Strange Beast if you’re looking for more fun on the town.

Loose Cannon
Make memories at Loose Cannon at the Ventura Harbor Village, now open! Formerly a beloved arcade, Loose Cannon pays homage to the building’s history with plenty of different arcade games — pinball, Mario Kart, skee ball, you name it.
Stop by to watch the latest sports game with a pint of beer (they have 20 beers on tap) or watch the boats go in and out of the harbor. You can also fuel up with all the bar food classics like pretzels, pizza, burgers, and more before challenging your friends to a friendly competition of bowling.
When you’re all gamed out, explore the Ventura Harbor Village — take a walk along the promenade, grab a sweet treat at Coastal Cone or Top This Chocolate, and have some fun on the water on a character pedal boat!
Ten Tigers
Step into total vacation vibes at Ten Tigers in Downtown Ventura.
Their picture-perfect cocktails, to-die-for dinner plates, and overall ambiance…chef’s kiss! If you’re looking for a casual yet elevated cocktail restaurant, this is your spot.
Order at the counter and then find a seat on their outdoor patio, complete with an incredible fireplace and tons of space to chill out and relax. Visitors rave about the Baja Fish Tacos — pair it with the Jamaíca Margarita and you’re set.
And if you stop by before 4 pm, you’ll find that its sister business, Caje Coffee Roasters is open!
Happy Place Eatery
Good energy. Smiles all around. A place that feels like home. Welcome to Happy Place Eatery — your new favorite burger and beer joint in Ventura!
Showcasing local breweries on tap (plus a special collaboration made with love with Ventura Coast Brewing), a delicious menu that begs you to dig in, and a space where all are welcome, Happy Place Eatery is your go-to spot to catch the latest sports game or to just relax with friends and family.
