Weekend Update from Haole the Surf Dog

Hello! Your AmbassaDog of Ventura here & I have some great weekend events coming up that are here in Ventura.

If you ever wonder what a Surf-Dog does in his free time, you can check out the Surf Rodeo taking place Saturday and Sunday, July 16th & 17th at South Seaward. I’ll be surfing at the event with A Walk on Water.

It’s pretty cool that two of my favorite Ventura events will be merging for a fun-filled weekend! Tickets will be sold at Ventura Visitor Center until Friday at 5:00PM.

Summer is in full swing and looks as if everyone is enjoying the beach. Remember, beach safety is always important, and with our awesome south swells we’ve been getting strong currents. Make sure you stay alert as the ocean can be unpredictable. I am always practicing safety by wearing a life jacket & my surfing partner (my Dad!) reads the waves for me!! Don’t forget….bring your sunscreen!! Enjoy the rest of July & our annual Ventura County Fair will be taking place in August!!
