It’s painted all over our Elf’s face. Magic. Joy. And hidden secrets.

The joy of Elf is simple; the chance for our kind and generous Ventura businesses to give away prizes (small and large and all unique), and the opportunity for those same kind businesses to be seen by Visit Ventura’s nearly 200,000 followers. And, honestly, there’s no telling what antics the Elf will get up to — maybe roll up in a carpet? — because that’s what elves do.

So start thinking Holiday joy (handy in any season), because starting November 27th and running through Christmas Day, Visit Ventura will be giving away a host of GENEROUS (note caps) gifts, kindly donated by our giving local businesses. The giveaways lead up to Five Grand Gifts (again, note caps) just before Christmas Day. Elf 2020’s Grand Gifts are a trip to the Channel Islands (thank you, Island Packers), a kayak adventure on Santa Cruz Island (thank you, Channel Islands Adventure Company), a hotel stay (for two) at the Ventura Beach Marriott and the Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach, and (drum roooooolll), a longboard hand-shaped by the legendary Steve Walden (thank you, Walden Surfboards). All the gift are for two, but you’ll have to share the last one.

And nope, plead though you may, we won’t tell you what all the gifts are ahead of time, ‘cuz what elf blabs away secrets? But right now we will tell you that every day we’ll give away two gifts so you can gift yourself and a friend (because gifting is also getting).

When the time comes, it works simply. For a chance to win each day’s giveaway, participants have to comment on @VisitVentura‘s Instagram post and tag a friend who will win with them. Enter as many times as you want — elves don’t give whoot about rules. Winners will be randomly selected the following day.
