Spend the day kayaking or paddle boarding around the harbor while ogling the boats and reveling in the sunshine. Head out on an Island Packer boat to explore Channel Islands National Park, the Galapagos of North America. Head to Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center for exhibits and a lovely ocean panorama from atop the viewing tower.
The Ventura Harbor Village brims with fresh seafood, unique cuisine, local wine, and of course sweets from Coastal Cone, home to the most creative ice cream concoctions you ever met. Brophy Brothers Restaurant & Clam Bar has a great view of the harbor. You won’t find better clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl than Andria’s Seafood Restaurant, family-run since 1982.
Looking for something to remember your trip by? Small boutiques, gift shops, and art galleries sprinkle the harbor, offering rare finds and something for everybody. You will find a trendy outfit, Hats Unlimited, original pieces of art, and handmade fudge and fun at the Village Carousel & Arcade. Be your own chocolatier at Top This Chocolate.
The Ventura Harbor Village isn’t a destination you can experience in one visit, there’s always something new and fun going on, including a host of events.
