Pacific Coast Business Times Honors Visit Ventura in Top 10 Rankings Among Nearly 100 Organizations

Ventura, Calif. (June 10, 2025) — For the sixth time, Visit Ventura has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the Central Coast by the Pacific Coast Business Times. Ranked in the top 10 out of 94 different organizations across the entire Central Coast, Visit Ventura is honored to receive this award once again.
“Every day, we wake up asking ourselves, ‘What’s the next right thing we can do for our community?’” said Marlyss Auster, President and CEO of Visit Ventura. “This recognition is a reflection of the heart, hustle, and hometown pride that our team brings to everything we do.”
This designation underscores Visit Ventura’s commitment to working and playing hard. As a nonprofit organization that strives to stimulate the local economy through tourism by showcasing local businesses, attractions and sharing the stories of the community, the Visit Ventura team of nine work on everything from viral Instagram videos highlighting new businesses in town to personally welcoming visitors from all over the country and world to the Visitors Center every single day with the help of our amazing volunteers.

People who took the survey were asked to rate their employers policies and stances from 1 to 5. Questions focused on everything from workplace environment to compensation. Nearly 1,500 people responded to the survey from across the 94 organizations, ranging from small boutiques to large agribusinesses.
Through the hard work, creativity, and passion from each Visit Ventura team member, the organization is proud to hold the #9 spot for the Best Place to Work in the Central Coast. What the team does isn’t work — it’s love and support for our Ventura.
