Ventura rolls out red carpet for cyclists

The most recent recognition happened Monday night, when the Ventura City Council approved a resolution declaring the town a “Bicycle Friendly City.” The request to do it came from Cycle California Coast, a group of businesses, volunteers, nonprofits and other advocacy groups working to push business tourism.
