Spotted in the news: Ventura is the Best Weather Capital

Whether you’re scouting your next vacation spot or looking for a city in which to settle down, you’re probably considering the local weather. After all, the temperature influences how we feel, what we wear, and how we spend our money, among other things.

Like Goldilocks, we’re all looking for that sweet spot between too hot and too cold.

With these factors in mind, the experts at WeatherDB, part of the Graphiq network, looked for the cities with the best weather in America. To determine the best weather capitals, WeatherDB used data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Global Historical Climatology Network and found the counties with most pleasant weather. These counties have the highest number of days with lows above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, highs between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit and less than .05 inches of precipitation.

As one might expect, California counties rank highest. However, Arizona and Texas also have multiple counties that stay mild for most of the year.
