Young artists series concert – channel islands chamber orchestra

Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra is thrilled to present its Young Artists Series Concert. It has been on hold for a year but our young musicians are primed to present an outstanding concert with a collection of pieces for piano, violin and bassoon. They will be playing pieces by well-known composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Grieg as well as a violin concerto by Max Bruch. The concert will begin with the Channel Islands Chamber orchestra performing the beautiful Chevalier de Saint-Georges Overture to L’Amant Anonyme by Joseph Bologne.

These amazing young artists will have the honor of playing in front of our full orchestra for two nights, March 12 at 7:00 pm in the beautiful Rancho Campana Performing Arts Center, 4235 Mar Vista Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010 and March 13 at 3:00 pm at First Methodist Church 1338 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA 93003. Be prepared to be carried away!

To keep our musicians, staff and audience as safe and comfortable as possible, we are requiring proof of full vaccination plus booster and asking everyone to wear a face covering.
