The Speakeasy Project: Area 22

After a three year hiatus, Fractured Actors Theater Company celebrates our return to the stage with The Speakeasy Project: Area 22 – our third annual celebration of New Theater and Live Music. Area 22 features four new exhilarating one-acts from local playwrights Jeff Ham and Shannon McNally Ham.

Peek inside the boardroom of our alien overlords. Watch a young entrepreneur be tempted with the deal of a lifetime. Will a young bride still tie the knot after her family hijacks her big day? And what really happens in the Mojave Desert in the middle of the night? These wild tales from the American Southwest exist somewhere between the floating realms of dreams and reality.

It’s all accompanied by modern rock from The Conspiracies, your new favorite band with musical direction by James Dorward and the finest musicians in Ventura County. The Speakeasy Project: Area 22 takes place inside Sweet Jay’s Museum of Oddities, a space age home for desert wanderers, celestial beings and broken hearts. All life forms welcome.
