Sensory Masterclass

This course is perfect for the coffee enthusiast that wants to take a deeper dive into how they experience and appreciate the sensory elements of their coffee. Students will learn how about the five senses (taste, smell, touch, sight, and sound) and how they influence our perception of flavor. This involves a discussion of the theory as well as practical sensory training. It’s a work out for your nose and palate! We will finish up by applying our knowledge to coffee with a cupping session.

The sensory masterclass runs for approximately two hours. Students will be given notes to take home.
