In The Calm and The Wild, Kel Jordan explores freedom through the lens of female resilience—the quiet, enduring strength that emerges when vulnerability and courage exist side by side. Her work explores the tension between strength and softness—where doubt becomes courage, and where a woman claims her voice and steps into the hope in front of her.

This collection moves between horses and landscapes, using each as a reflection of the internal journey toward transformation.The Calm and The Wild honors the sacred strength of women who continue forward—who carry pain, faith, memory, and joy—and still choose to step into the wildness of who they are meant to be.

Kel's work has been featured in galleries from Los Angeles to Portland, including the Santa Paula Art Museum. Her works has one multiple honorable mention awards.
