Outreach Alliance of Ventura County’s (OAVC) 75th Anniversary Celebration

The community is invited to celebrate Outreach Alliance of Ventura County's (OAVC) 75th anniversary on Sept. 21 from 2-4 pm. The event will start with a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce at 2 p.m., will continue with proclamations from local and state officials, giveaways, hors d’oeuvres and tours of the beautiful, sprawling OAVC facility. Local high school teens will provide background jazz music.
OAVC members and teens will be on hand to answer questions about the volunteer-driven nonprofit’s many and varied programs to aid local children, schools and families in need. Among other things, they’ll demonstrate how they fill the thousands of backpacks they supply each year to local students.

“We invite everyone to discover how OAVC has enriched the lives of children and adults throughout Ventura County since 1950,” officials stated.
