The narrative follows an American bridesmaid who clashes with her Nigerian relatives at a family wedding, only to discover that her deteriorating health is linked to an ancient mermaid goddess and a mysterious drowning ceremony. This one-hour solo show is a fictionalized retelling of Ohikhuare’s real-life battle with a debilitating brain disorder, bringing a unique blend of humor, tragedy, and magical realism to the stage.
