Monarch and pollinator Planting Day

Ventura County resource conservation district is hosting and planting day at Camino real Park to create habitat for monarchs and other pollinators. 200 native plants will be planted at two locations to give monarchs a nectar source near by the eucalyptus grove that they overroost at during the winter. The flowering plants will also make great habitat for bees and various birds. Bring water, sun protection, and closed toed shoes. Snacks and tools will be provided.
