Join Ventura Dive for a free Lobster Hunter Q&A ahead of the 2026 California spiny lobster season opener. Representatives from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife will discuss current regulations, Spiny Lobster Report Cards, minimum size requirements and lobster biology, with time for questions from attendees.
This event is open to experienced lobster hunters, first-time participants and anyone interested in learning more about California’s recreational spiny lobster fishery. Ventura Dive will also have lobster gear available at the shop and information about lobster charters aboard The Raptor and other local vessels throughout the season.
