Joint Strength and Mobility for Yogis and Athletes at Grassroots Yoga
Most injuries occur when the incoming force exceeds the joints capacity to withstand said force. Or you may not have the best mobility in a joint so the neighboring joints start compensating – creating a chain of instability. Because we're human we sometimes end up in suboptimal movement patterns – so in this workshop we'll explore strengthening your joints in their full range of motion, particularly at their end range, to help you feel stronger, capable, and give you a better body to do the activities you love to do.
You'll walk away from this workshop with a deeper comprehension of the way your body moves. You'll see your limitations and will be introduced to tools to help you gain more mobility (yes, there WILL be homework). And you'll be set on a path forward to bullet proof joints!
