Greet & Signing with Author Vezna Andrews

Timbre Books welcomes author Vezna Andrews for an in-store meet-and-greet celebrating her debut young adult novel, One with the Waves! She’ll be signing books and chatting with readers.

Set in 1980s Southern California, One with the Waves is the story of a city girl who emerges from grief and discovers her inner self through her passion for surfing. Ellie’s world is turned upside down when her father unexpectedly dies and her mother sends her to Manhattan Beach to live with her aunt and her uncle—both avid surfers. With their encouragement, Ellie takes up surfing, giving her the confidence and strength needed to navigate her own path in life.

Vezna Andrews is the debut author of One with the Waves. When not writing, Vezna is either surfing with the dolphins, at the skate park with her son, or painting in her studio. An artist as well as an author, Vezna is especially proud to be a “soul surfer” mom sponsored by her local surf shop. Vezna lives with her family in the South Bay of Los Angeles.
