Following the success of last year’s Palomino Nights—a highlight of the Ventura Live 2024 season—the hit concert event returns to Rubicon for a night of music, storytelling, and cosmic twang. Led by Jay Ponti, this show unites some of Ventura’s finest musicians for a heartfelt tribute to the Grateful Dead, reimagined through the soul of classic country.
Joining the band are special guests Phil Salazar (Bob Weir’s longtime fiddler with RatDog & Wolf Bros), Ed McCabe (banjo & pedal steel, Tyler Childers), Mark Masson and members of Shaky Feelin’, plus surprise appearances throughout the night. Experience acoustic and electric sets filled with fresh takes on Workingman’s Dead and American Beauty.
A one-night-only celebration of roots, rebellion, and community. Deadheads and country fans alike will find a home here!
