Discover the art of screen-printing in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop celebrating the iconic work of Frida Kahlo. We will learn about the process of preparing a screen — from creating a stencil to setting up the screen for printing — Participants will begin by painting directly onto their paper, creating a colorful background inspired by Kahlo’s iconic imagery. Once the painted surface is dry, you’ll pull a screen-printed image of Frida Kahlo on top, transforming each piece into a one-of-a-kind, layered artwork. No previous experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.

*Youth ages 8 -12 must be accompanied with a registered adult
