“A Shared History: Diverse Voices Across Ventura County” speaker series

The month of May is Historic Preservation Month and Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! In commemoration, join the Ventura County Cultural Heritage Board for a presentation and Q&A from Dr. Lily Anne Welty Tamai on the rich and complex history of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Ventura County.

This series is consistent with the Ventura County Cultural Heritage Program goal of helping to foster an awareness and appreciation of Ventura County’s rich history and variety of cultural resources among both residents and visitors. Meetings are open to the public and create space for questions and dialogue to foster understanding within the community. This session will be recorded for later viewing.
