Rotary Clubs of Ventura: Ventura’s End of Summer Beachside Bash
The three Rotary clubs of Ventura are proud to announce: Ventura’s End of Summer Beachside Bash on September 23, 2023, from 11am-5:30pm at San Buenaventura State Beach Park. Fun for all ages, this party is sure to be the highlight of the year! With fabulous food and drinks to wet your whistle, we are sure to keep you entertained with a car show and a steak cook off, plus celebrity chef demonstrations and live music from Nautical Thrust and The Bomb. It’s sure to be a GREAT TIME!
All proceeds from this event will go to local charities because together we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. Last year collectively our Rotary Clubs gave $770,056 to high impact, non-profit organizations benefiting thousands of Venturans who need our support the most!
The Eight-O-Five Car Show, will excite car enthusiasts with a wide variety of current car models, concept cars, lowriders, high technology and out of production classics. These auto shows are all about bringing passionate car people together to share their enthusiasm for cars while showing off their beloved vehicles.
The Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) is dedicated to building the sport of Ribeye Steak BBQ Cookoff events. The SCA is the only sanctioning body focused exclusively on Steak BBQ Grilling. The most popular steak in the country is a ribeye, it is the anchor of all SCA events.
Celebrity Chefs, Kyle Matuszewski and Phil the Grill (Phil Johnson) will be showing off their Pit Master Skills. Phil’s signature seasoning, Rub Me All Over Smoky Sweet Heat Rub, was 19th overall at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue’s “2020 Best Rub on the Planet” the largest BBQ rub contest in the world. Matuszewski, owner of Your Behind BBQ Rubs and Seasonings came in 4th overall in 2022 at the American Royal Invitational (YSB BBQ). With multiple awards and television appearances, these two Pit Masters are sure to teach you a few things about BBQing your meat!
With local Ventura native sounds from Nautical Thrust and The Bomb, these two talented bands with large fan followings will take us on a journey through yacht rock to Latin soul and funk. Their rhythm and tempo is sure to get all ages dancing and enjoying the sounds as you drink local beer and wine, shop local vendors, devour the food from local food trucks and take in the beautiful scenery of our very own San Buenaventura Beach! Making this event the perfect way to end the summer!
