2026 State of the City Address

Wednesday, September 9 | 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Ventura City Hall – 501 Poli Street

This free, family-friendly event begins with an Open House & Resource Fair from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., featuring:

– A Touch-a-Truck experience with vehicles from Ventura Police, Fire, Water, Public Works, and more.
– Live performances from local students and cultural groups.
– Booths showcasing various City departments and community partners, offering helpful resources and services.

The State of the City Address will follow at 5:00 p.m., where Mayor Dr. Jeannette Sanchez-Palacios will provide an overview of:

– The City’s budget and financial outlook
– Progress on City Council's Strategic Priorities
– Business updates, recent accomplishments, and future goals
