Gold Coast Transit

Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD) (<- link www.GCTD.org) provides public transit in the cities of Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Ventura and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County. All buses have space for two wheelchairs, strollers (folded), and space for up to 3 bikes per bus. Route 6 runs every 25 minutes on Main Street/Ventura Avenue, and the Route 16 runs once per hour along Thompson Bl to/from scenic Ojai. Schedule information is available on Google’s Trip Planner (<-link https://www.google.com/intl/en/landing/transit/). Fares are $1.50 for one ride, or $4.00 for a day pass and can be purchased by downloading the Token Transit App (<- Link https://tokentransit.com/app) (or texting the word “Token” to 41411). Note: Seniors over 65 ride ½ off, and seniors over 75 and Children are FREE. Questions: Contact Us! GCTD is the largest provider of public transit in Ventura County, and carries nearly 4 million passengers annually on its 20 bus routes.
