the Listening Room – Open Mic at NAMBA

Come to NAMBA every second Sunday and fourth Friday (SSFF) for ‘A Songwriter’s Open Mic’, Hosted by Ventura songwriter Henry Stewart. This is an evening of acoustic open mic musical entertainment for songwriters to give voice to our local talent in an environment that promotes a professional show experience. We have performers come from far and wide to enjoy our stage. Doors open at 6 pm, Henry warms up the mic at 6:45, and the show starts at 7 pm. Each performer gets 10 minutes in the spotlight. One cover song only per set. This event is a community fundraising show that encourages donations to support our Namba Performing Arts Space. Drinks will be available for purchase. Vocals and instruments will be run through the excellent sound system; microphones, monitors, direct in jacks, and the house grand piano are available.
