PRESS RELEASE

The Ghost of Perry Mason Tour and Talk

Date: March 31 Friday
Time: 7 to 9 pm
Fee: $5
Place: Bank of Books Bookstore Downtown Main street, Ventura.

No, Perry Mason was a fictional character but his creator, author and lawyer Erle Stanley Gardner lived, worked and wrote in Ventura. Much of his famed mystery stories use people and places he knew well when practicing law in Ventura. In many ways the haunts of Mr. Gardner are important locations and a few ghosts as well. A unique man, Gardner was loved and hated by locals with many stories of his antics legal and not. These adventures will be part of the stories as well as ghost stories linked to the sites where Gardner spent time.
