Exhibit Highlight: Ventura Land Use Panel

In connection to the contentious issues highlighted in our new exhibit, The Murder of Tom More: A True Crime Story, MVC will be hosting a panel discussion on past and current land use in Ventura County. Moderated by Maureen McGuire, CEO of the Farm Bureau of Ventura County, representatives from the Chumash, agriculture, economic development, and land conservation will discuss the history, present, and future of Ventura’s land.

Panelists:
Julie Tumamait-Stenslie, Chumash Elder
Alyssa Terry, Terry Farms Co-Owner (I think this is her title but I will ask for more info)
Melissa Baffa, Executive Director of Ventura Land Trust
Matthew Fienup, Executive Director, Center for Economic Research & Forecasting
