Jim Woodard ~ Writer / Storyteller
Jim Woodard is a Ventura storyteller and writer. He has been the resident storyteller at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum since 1995. And he has presented programs, for adults and kids, at many public libraries, schools, museums, business meetings and other venues in California and in the Midwest. He received the nation’s top award in the area of public communications from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge — primarily for his series of historic and patriotic storytelling programs.
Jim also writes columns for the Ventura County Star newspapers, and writes a nationally syndicated newspaper column. He has also written a book on Ventura County, now selling at all major book stores.
