Do you strive to be part of the story rather than reading it in the news? Do you love Ventura and volunteering for your community? Are you a fan of world-class athletes? If so, we need you!

We are looking for 200 volunteers to take part in Ventura’s first-ever Amgen Tour of California stage start! The race will begin at Ventura Pier and continue along the water to Ventura Avenue where it will turn onto Main Street to showcase Ventura’s Historic Downtown. Upon reaching California Street, the race will turn and head down Santa Clara Street to Hemlock and down Sanjon back to the water. It will take a left onto Harbor Blvd and exit to Oxnard.

This is a very unique opportunity not only to help us rally the community but to see, up-close, the international cyclists and teams that compete in the Tour de France, Giro di Italia, and other major bike racing events. The Ventura to Gibraltar Road stage is over 100 miles and the only mountain-top finish for the entire race.

Monday, May 14, 2018

The approximate schedule for volunteers will be 9:30am until noon. we will keep in touch with you regarding details for check-in where you will receive your FREE Tour of California T-shirt and be assigned to a course location.

Volunteers are a crucial piece of making the Tour of California a successful bike race so help us spread the word and encourage your friends to sign up on-line HERE.
